How do I reset the overhead maintenance light on my 1999 Cougar

i cant think of it right off hand but i KNOW its in the owners manual

hold the SELECT and UNITS buttons together for 5 seconds, then let go and wait another 5 seconds, then it should go out, if it doesnt let me know
