2000 monte driveablity problems

My 2000 monte is actin weird lately....if left idling for about 5 min when warm and i go to leave it will stall, it will restart but hard like its flooded...i've changed plugs, wires, fuel filter , cleaned the throttle plate, iac is fine, it will do this randomly , i notice it more in hot weather...i've noticed that it does run slightly hotter than it used to...I'm leaning towards clogged cat i notice that if i have my fott in one spot on the gas when its cold , or warm it will feel like it pulls away good then doesnt then does.... I'm stumped on this. any ideas what would cause this erratic idle when put into gear with stallin...and hitting the gas right away does nothing.

Try cleaning your MAF Be very careful cause they will break easily.

You should be throwing a SES so have it scaned!

well i guess i spoke too soon, it has the power now, but still has the shaky idle when it gets hot....and if you rev it the thing will either shake like crazy at 300 rpm and then slowly get back to 800 or it will stall...also i noticed that the torque converter will lockup at 25-30 mph if i am on the gas lightly, i thought that shouldnt happen???

hmm anybody think a faulty fuel pressure regulator would cause the car to not start, it was sitting out in my driveway for abotu 4 hours...and i went to go start it, it started , ran shaky as hell...then i gave it gas and it didnt do anythign then after 4-6 seconds it revved and then went back down to the shaky idle and died, i tried restarting it but alls it would do is feel like it wanted to go then i gave up came back 20 min later tried again it kept trying so i went under the hood , pulled the regulator hose, it was dry so i put it back on...then i continued to crank it for a while...even holdign the gas to the floor had no effects then out of no where it fired and started right up and ran great....I am narrowing it down to the fuel pressure regulator, cam or crank sensor....the injectors work great..the only question i had is when i changed the plugs a while back # 1 cylinder had a wet plug after sittign over night as did #2 ....this car is driving me nuts right now, i even went thru the tsb's and the only thing i found was some wiring harness might rub which i hafta check....any input would help...even from past experiences....I love this car and well the problems have begun, i got 3 years of trouble free service since i bought it used....I'm about to go buy a dif car if this is how its gonna be...
