In Progress: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
Seems like there are a lot of Lambos on the board right now. As I started my 1/12 Ferrari 641/2 I got inspired by the 36 hours challenge by klutz_100. So I got infected and urged myself to "smash" something together.
I chose the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary. This car has been my childhood dream and is still one of my favourites. So this car will be painted TS-8 red and the interior will be flat black. I will try to work on my dirting and metalflashing abilities. Remember it is just supposed to be a small distraction from that massive detail build of the Formula 1-Ferrari. I started to fit all the parts and checked whether ride height and wheels position are okay (itīs a Fujimi kit and I had trouble with that several times before and I remember RallyRaider complaining about his Fujimi Murcielago wheels position. I also fitted the doors to the body. So it wonīt be a model with opening doors. I had open Lambo doors on my 1/16 Fujimi Lambo Countach. They were such a pain and it didnīt look good afterwards. So right now I have the chassis painted flat black and started to prime the body. I hope I can start the first layers of paint soon after I resanded the body thoroughly. Now some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please comment! I hope to update soon!

Re: In Progress: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
The interior is almost done. Don´t forget: it´s a curbside-"smash"-together, meaning that no special effort is given to areas not seeable after completion. That is the reason why parts of the chassis are semi black. When completed the rear bumper will cover most of the rear chassis, so only the exhaust system will be seen.
I couldn´t resist adding a slight black wash to the engine and gearbox parts on the underside of the chassis. Enjoy the pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The next steps will be taken by painting th body and the window trim as well as making the whole thing as shiny as possible!

Re: In Progress: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
Nice work there!!!. . .
I've always liked the RS series because of the improved overall stance over the EM series. . . EM's were so damn fussy to get just right. . . ![]() Look at all the Lambo's poppin' up here recently!!!. . .

Re: In Progress: Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
As promised... I keep on slamming this thing together, gee, it feels good to produce massive progress, when working on the kit.
This time I painted the bods. Still need to apply clear coats and then the finishing stuff. But I couldnīt resist to make some previews of what it may look like later. Doing this I found out that the front part of the chassis wonīt fit a tight as it should do. But I figured that the rear window (if you wanna call it like that on the Lamborghini) collides with the roof, so the chassis and the body wonīt connect in the slight and tight way it should. But Iīm sure, I can handle this difficulty. Now the pics, enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments welcome!
