very high idle

had something strange happen this evening.
went to turn car on, it jumped real high in the idle, up to 2000 RPm. I shut it off right away, than restarted it and it idled fine.
Let car sit for a while, and it did it again.
I cleaned the IAC, and the hole that it goes in. Restarted it a few times afterwards, and it idled fine.
Is the IAC going bad? Could it be the Throttle Position Sensor?

Any thoughts??

Thanks!!!
Paul

Re: very high idle

There's another post about the exact same thing. It could be an IAC, I guess.
