FS: K20a del Sol
1993 Honda del Sol Si.
- K20A with roughly 12,000 miles on it. the engine is still clean and new enough to eat off of. This is a K20a from an 02+ JDM Integra Type R, not a USDM Acura RSX-S. The differences include better cams, a bigger intake manifold, a lighter flywheel, even shorter gears, and a much loved LSD. Factory hp is rated @ 220 (20 higher than the usdm k20a2). Comes with I/H/E. Swap done by Autolab ( http://www.autolabonline.net ) in Louisville Kentucky in September of 2004. The swap was completely flawless, the only problem I've had with it is a bad master cylinder a month ago. Hasport eg k mounts were used with a hybrid racing wiring harness with the stock R ecu. If you're interested in the unique thing, I have only seen one other k20 sol in the nation, and the dc5-r swap is still relatively uncommon. Gas milage is a major plus too. 25-30mpg depending on how heavy your foot is. An of course the car is an NA rocket. - Immaculate interior, almost brand new factory floor mats and factory green stripe seats with NO tears or holes. The only thing 'wrong' with the interior is it's missing the factory radio door cover thingie, which had to be removed to make room for the shift linkage. The exterior is waxed frequently and I vacuum in the interior once a week. It's been garaged when not driving since I bought it in October 2003. No rust. - Targa top only leaks in heavy rain when you make hard left turns. I'm not sure how that works, but it's the only time it happens. I keep the seals lubbed with Honda silicone grease (buyer gets a free tube! :P). There are some problems with the body of the car. The front and rear bumper have small imperfections from minor accidents created by the previous owner. Nothing that jumps out, but just enough for the owner of the car to recognize every time. Also the small metal panel above the targa top appears to be dented. I have replacement oem bumpers and a brand new oem roof header panel . They just need to be painted. Also the door handles and aux light have small cracks, but I have brand new handles and aux lights as well. all of this will come with the car (as well as the defunct radio door). - Has koni yellow's and eibach springs (1.8'' up front, 1.6'' in the back). 15'' rota slipstreams with four good 205/50 kumho ecsta asx tires. Also has SRR lower control arms and a Beaks rear lower tie bar. I never got a chance (or the funds) to complete the set with the srr rear sway bar, but it wouldn't be an expensive addition. Also has a stock del Sol VTEC front strut bar. For anyone not familar with del Sols, theyre really fun and unique cars to drive. The targa top stores easily in the trunk and it has a power rear window. cool stuff. Removed was the power steering (sucks anyway), air conditioning (targa top, who cares), and cruise control (youre a fool if you want to spend time in this car not driving it). Other stuff: - Factory 1993 owners manual - JVC CD/MP3 player w/ remote - RSX-S Six Speed shift knob - windows tinted by Roberts - neither the ash tray nor the glovebox are broken(a common problem), both still function perfectly. - If offered enough $ I'll throw in a spare green stripe seat, also perfect with no imperfections (it's been chilling in my room as a GT4 chair ![]() Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Please AIM or Email with offers or questions.
