CD changer harness

Fixin to pick up the factory cd changer for my 98 lumina, it's a base model with the ACDelco tape/radio head unit, has control buttons for cd chnager, I am curious as to where the harness in the trunk would be located so I can find it. thanx in advance.

Re: CD changer harness

Even just driver's side, passenger side, front, rear, tryin to get an idea of where to start pullin back carpet in the trunk to locate harness and mount changer. I had a previous thread that someone replied to sayin since I have the button controls in-dash, it would be very good chance that the harness is already there.

Re: CD changer harness

Probably didn't come factory-run, if you know what I mean. I had to buy one from Techni-Car (local stereo shop here in Atlanta) for about forty bucks, though since I got bashed pretty good from behind a few weeks ago I'll sell you mine when I get back to the US. I'm overseas currently. Factory-run, its down the passenger side, but you can do the driver's as well. Just be wary of the airbag module and wiring if you go down the passenger side.

I won't be back until April 20th though so if this is time-critical I can't help out much with P/A

Re: CD changer harness

Thanx for the reply, ppreciate it. Reason I asked this is in an earlier post jeffco suggested that since my head unit had buttons for it it may have a harness pre-run. Not time critical, as just curious, still watching on ebay for one that will work with my stereo. Ballpark quote on how much you would sell it for?

Re: CD changer harness

I'll toss it out for 20 and some change for shipping, whenever you want it. Just let me know and I'll get it out to you.
