Hi everyone,
I need to know what I need to do to wire up infinity aftermarket speakers to the BOSE head unit on my Silverado. Does anyone have any info on this? THx, Josh |

Umm.... couldn't you just remove the door panels and cut the factory wires to wire up the Infinity's. If you dont want to cut the wires, Crutchfield has adapters that plug into the factory plugs and give you extra wire to wire up the aftermarkets.

The Bose speakers are 2 Ohm. Make sure your aftermarkets are also 2 ohm or your head unit will be screwed.

you can put the infinity's in but they are gonna be a 4 ohm instead of a ohm load. so they will draw half of the power that the stock does. so your volume won't be as loud. it should have no effect on the headunit or anything. the best thing to do would be replace the head unit and run new speaker wire to the speakers.
