Question Raising the ARB ?

I ordered the Calmini 3" body lift and it should be in by next weekend, and I was simply wanting to know if those that have an ARB and have done the body could help me out a little?

Could you possible take a picture of the new brackets for the the ARB? Maybe even measurments and the thickness of materials you used to create the mounting brackets.

Any help would be much appriciated!

Thanks, Kevin

Send Todd @ EOE an email ([email protected]). He has fabbed bracket for a couple of 2" BL. The brackets are strong enough to support the ARB even when a winch is used, iirc.

Im sure if he see's this post he will give me some imput. I have sent an email but no reply and I bug him enough as it is so I dont want to send another. He also has a lot of custom jobs set up, and if he didnt I would simply ask him to weld me up the craddle but, maybe I can find someone local to do it for me.

Kevin in the next two weeks i am making/installing two cradles for people with body lifts, these will bolt on to the X with 8 bolts and then the ARB is welded to the cradle. I know you asked if it could bolt on to the ARB but I would not feel comfortable with that at all, you are raising the bumper 2-3" higher than it was designed for so the attachment must be as secure as possible...so it is welded. The cradle also has cross bracing to prevent side loads from trying to shift the ARB and this helps distribute the forces to both frame rails. I have not decided if i will offer this type of product for liability reasons, for those heading to EOE for the work I know they are being installed and welded correctly.
