Unhappy Suspension Slowing Car?????

I have a 92 Cutlass CieraS 3.3L 3spd auto. I have this strip of highway onramp that I use to guage my cars performance. There is a strip of paint that I usually hit at 70MPH consistantly. I just replaced the motor/trans mounts, struts, and shocks. Now, I would have thought it would have made it a little faster due to less of the energy being wasted bouncing around. But, now when I run that strip, I hit it at 65MPH. That is a HUGE decrease in acceleration. ANY idea as to why this is happening please e-mail me at [email protected]. Only thing I can think of, is the suspension has been shot for so long the torque converter is used to it. =(
