Exclamation Ok I need some help with mods!!

Ok here's the low down. 1990 2 door twin turbo 300ZX. FULL Veilside bodykit and clear lights being installed and painted baby blue. ONLY mod so far it exhaust and rims (Exhaust will be changed to different shape mufflers though).

My mate wants to do some PERFORMANCE mods next. He's talking about some chip that will make it faster, my guess is it just elliminates the fuel cut and raises the boost?

Anyway Im assuming the normal stuff should be done, i.e Aif filter, bov, boost control. What else can be done and how easy is it to do those things. Will there need to be an adaptor for the air filters? is there an AFM?, where would they go? as I can't see any room!!, one pod or two? Oh and is a bov venting to the atmophere gonna be a problem? i.e idle etc? and with those mods how much boost can he run, 14psi? 15psi?

I'll make him get a boost gauge as well, do 300zx's have a pillar mounted ones?

Any ideas would be great

cheers

Plan out how far you wanna go with your mods, and then talk to the guys at Jim Wolf Tech (jimwolftechnology.com). Their POP Power Package is really good, that might be all you need (if 78 HP over stock is all you need). They will build you a custom ECU however you want it; if you can drive your car out to El Cajon (way out in Cali), they'll dyno tune it to absolute perfection. Thes guys are unparalleled Nissan gurus, and I can't think of a better outfit to put the finishing touches on your car here in the States.

here you go

ok the chip is a 60 hp upgrade cost about 600 dollars and will eliminate the fuel cut off ,speed limitors, timing, and alough you to raise your boost
get jwt or stillen all the others are shit

the air filter repacement is a good thing about 15hp upgrade and will cost about 100-150 dollars again get the jwt pop charger or stillen.

the blow off valve will help get rid of excess exhaust and will be a small hp gain get hks or greddy they both work good and also sound good

boost controler get a electronic hks or greddy it will alough you to raise the psi of your boost to about 15psi with what you have and that is where the ecu chip cokmes into play now you can do that

Auto meter makes the A-piller gauge holder for your car(I have them in my 300zx) they look good. Auto meter also makes a boost guage you will need that also becasse your stock one will be obsolite because it wont go high enough

get a turbo timer to sve your turbos from burning up they it gives them time to cool off.(they get hot after hard driving)

and for a little hp upgrade for free gut your pre-cats it is legal to do if you dont live in cal. that will gain you about 10hp just take them off and poke a rode through them till they are hollow.

So after you are done with all this you will be at around
345rwhp
400cranckhp
