Exclamation Help!! Water is filling up Inside my car. WHY????

My car is leaking water from somewhere but it's not the doors, I've been to windshield installers and they say the seals are fine. People keep telling me about a drain plug or hose from the firewall but nobody knows where this is located. HELP!!!!!

i had some water leaking into my car too - found it was from a crack in the firewall...i put some silicone sealent on there and it fixed it, the only drain plug i know of is under the plastic peice in front of the windshield, the water from the windsheild drains down into this area and then runs through a hole down the firewall on the engine side, and it my car the crack was like 12 inches below this drain so all the water was running down into it

I had a 91 Sunbird that use to fill up with water in the floorboard - it was just a puddle in the passengers side! It was my heater core and it had went out causing the fluid to leak. This could be a problem - you will know though because you should have no heat!

The windshield cowling warps on the riders side making the gaskets that seal the cold air intake fail. Look down at the windshield standing by the car on the riders side looking toward the front of the vehicle. If you see warping in the cowl the seals are bad.

The warped cowling wouldn't make that much of a difference. A cowling that is sealed well just allows some of the water to flow off the sides of the car instead of it running down into the drain holes. Water will come in the HVAC dampner if it is excessive or the door is restricted from leaves, etc., or the seal is gone. The biggest problem on these cars is rust forming just below the drains allowing it to run into the car and down the firewall. The other area is the seal on the HVAC dampner, the welded seam across the firewall, or the wiring block on the passenger side that enters by the hood hinge and connects to the ECM.
