Question Major Idle Problem

I have a 91 accord wagon it idle between 1000 & 3000rpm's. none stop!
changed ECU , TB WITH TPS ,AND DIS . still idles fast. it surges back and forth.. even after it warms up..

turn down cold air intake
4-2-1 header
full muffler system from cat back

rest is all stock 2.2L motor trying to figure this before i do anything else to waste my money .

please if anyone can tell me how to stop this idle problem let me know so i can fix the problem.

Re: Major Idle Problem

I've heard its because of the Fuel injectors. Get some fuel injector cleaner. I don't think it's going to fix it totally but it'll sure help you out. I remember when that happened to me, I'd be waiting at a red light and it'd be so annoying I'd rev the engine myself.

Also, a must do:
Search the Accord AF site. I'm sure you'll find what you need instead of waiting for someone else to reply.

Re: Major Idle Problem

check your plugs and wires, your 02 sensors(you would probably get a CEL) and check for vacuum leaks.
