'00 GM Headlight leaks

Headlight fills with moisture, very little water in bottom of light. have noticed some towncars with same problem. Anyone figured out where this might be coming from before i take the thing apart?

Headlight assembly has an air vent tube (on rear of assembly) and water is being drawn into it.

The best soultion is to protect water from splashing over air vent tube.

Form a hood with duct tape over air vent tube (do not block air vent tube!), so that water is flow is directed away from air vent tube.

This should prevent new build up of mositure and fogging. For moisture already there, it will need to dry out over time.

There should be an access panel (under hood and behind each headlamp) which will allow you to get at rear of headlamp assembly and air vent tube. Air vent tube is on low beam side.
