Service Engile Ligth is on after changing AIR Filter

Hello:
I have a 1998 SL2. I checked the air filter that it was really dirty. I just bougth a new one from Autozone and changed it yesterday. When I started my car this morning, SES ligth came on. The car runs fine. There is no change in terms of running but but why this SES came on.
I would greatly appreciate your inputs.

Your car has an odb II scanner input under the dash on the driver side. Autozone has a scanner that will tell what code the computer is giving. these codes is the computers way of telling you problems with your car. We'll know what the codes mean if autozone doesn't.
