Downtime on June 20-21, 2001
Hello AFers,
AF has been down for over 24 hours due to several problems, one being you guys visit AF too much  AF was eating up the server resources until it totally killed the server. Then everytime we tried to get it back up, AF would start eating up the resources again. Right now it appears to be under control. We really would like to apologize to you all for this  10 minutes after AF went back up there were already 30 people on the forums... crazy eh  Well, I really hope this doesnt happen again, at least in the near future. Also, to all AF partners, I would like to say extra sorry for letting you down :o Enjoy the forums everybody!

Hey i thought u said that the server could handle it ?????? So were u just bsing to me ? b/c i remember a long time ago u told me it could handle an ass of people on here .......
 So what is up with that igor ?

I was lost with out AF....I had to do some work for a change instead of letting everyone else do it at work for me !!!

I had nothing to do. I just sat there and looked at the web error screen for about 10 minutes. Then I asked DVS what I could do...he couldn't help me.

Thanks for your efforts Igor!
Well Igor, I returned off a cross-state cycling tour to find out that AF was sick! Man, I nearly had a fainting spell! I was forced to go to our arch rival site just to get caught up in a flame fest about some guy, poser offroad pics, and samuari stickers!!!!!!
 Well, the universe has been saved! My ride has been cleaned up after the trip and there's cold beer in the fridge! I can sleep now.... thanks, Aquamander

Hey its all good, we try to make AF perfect, but every now and then something goes beyond our control or something that we cannot expect happens.
