V6 front wheel drive...
can the plugs on the firewall side be removed from above or do you have to go below? |

Re: '99 3.1L ENIGNE- spark plugs
I not sure about the 99 3.1L V6 but on my 90 3.1L V6, I have to remove the bolt of the dog-bone from the engine side and loosen the bolt on the frame side. I use a pry bar or any metal bar on the engine lift eye-hook and turn the engine forward. Once I move the engine forward, I put back the bolt from the engine side but I put the bolt on the middle hole (bottom side) of the dog-bone. The engine should have tilted enough for me to remove the spark plugs from the top.
