Street Glow LED kit
DOes anyone have this kit? and if so, how do they like/dislike it. Is installation hard, as in, can a newbie like me do it, or should i bring it to a professional? BTW this is for a buddies mitsubishi galant and he wants to know if i can do it for him.

Re: Street Glow LED kit
LEDs are supposedly better then regular neons. I have StreetGlow neons although and they are great. Yes, they are very easy to install. It doesnt take much knowledge to mount the neons, but however, you do need to know how to wire them properly. Hiring a professional really isnt needed for a small project like this.

Re: Street Glow LED kit
Agrees with streetglow , I use liteglow leds and they are way cooler for trick apearance. I dont know what kind of wiring would be involved in the kit you have but mine was a simple controll box with a on/off button and a settings scroll button, The lights wires connected to the box with clips (simple) and were installed on shock absorbing mounts thet were screwed on the under body , under trunk and behind the front bumper. It took me an hour to mount wire and test them and was my first time doing so. I had the luxury of using a hoist in the shop so the work was over head alot easier than using a sleeper. The power wire was placed on the pos battery terminal and grounded on the suspension post. Lasted 15 months so far and I love how they turn heads. Cops hatem tho.

Re: Street Glow LED kit
They are generally easy to install unless you dont have the luxary of the hoist like me..lol. LEDs have a steader glow to them and generally brighter than neons as well, thats generally speaking of couse. Some neons are better then LEDs but for those you pay about $250.

Re: Street Glow LED kit
I ordered my lite glow kit from texas over a year ago when it just came out the damn kit costed me 500+ dollars , this same kit costs 200 or less now. It has flash patterns some are kinda like night rider they go back and forth some fade in stronger brighter each pulse. I dunno there real lots of fun and make it alot easier to drag race at night cus everyone thinks your gonna race. Oh and the girls really likem too.(stage 13 got flashed by every girl we asked to flash us) lol like i said alot of fun.
