What Size Wheels/Tires??
I have a stock (i mean stock, stock springs, stock struts, stock tires, stock hubcaps, stock intake... everything) 96 Chevy Cavalier 2 dr coupe. Not anything fancy, just bare bones coupe.
What i want to know is: What size of 17"s if any, can i fit on this car. obviusly the wider the better, but i dont want to have to change anything, no new struts or springs nothin. Also what size of tires would fit it? One thing i would like to point out, under my front tires wheel well just above the tires there looks like some sort of spring, or coil about 2" above the tire, whats that and will i have to remove it if i get 17's. Thanks alot for any help. |

17s would be no problem with the stock suspension setup. You can run a 215/45-17 tire size. You can use a 17X7-8" wheel with that setup. Most are going to be a 7.5" wide wheel. You can see a whole list of all the wheels we sell for your car here:
