4th gen front lights..

Couple quick questions for everyone..

I am trying to replace the bulbs in the front corner (parking light?). There is one screw under the hood and its apparently just supposed to slide out...but it doesnt.. Ive tried prying it with a screwdriver but it seems to be stuck on something and i cant figure out what..

Second question is for my highbeams.. I replaced both low and high bulbs and ever since I bought the car, the high beams havnt worked properly. Its just the passenger side and it only comes on once in awhile.

Any suggestions would be great..thanks

if you're using high wattage light bulbs, you might consider upgrading the wires as well to accomodate the higher power bulbs.

Re: 4th gen front lights..

Take out that screw and the lenses will "pop" out they have a little mushroom shaped plastic clip that slides into a rubber boot thats why its hard...

Re: 4th gen front lights..

from the looks of the original post, you took the screw out. if your car is like mine, you'll prolly have to give it quite a tug. the key is not so much how hard you pull on it, but more so the angle you pull on it. pull pressure on it, and move it around slightly in different directions. and if you break the light, they really aren't that expensive.

as far as your high beams, you may have a loose wire near that bulb. or the plug could be loose. if other bulbs start doing it as well, you may want to change your headlight relay in the fuse box under the hood. honda's seem to destroy that relay often. i actually changed mine today
