The Geo belongs to a friend and we desp. need help, while driving it just died, he thinks that he might of went over a small bump. the car has had the ignition changed, the distributor, relays fuses, all to no avail?
We have vlotage at the distributors but notat the sparkplugs. No fuel, we check ujnder the seat and no voltage to the pump? Is their a ignition module, does it put juice to both and where is it. we are novices but have tried to think this through? we would really appreciate help. Thanks Tony&Dan |

Re: 90 metro DIed on the road, see what I've tried I DESP need Help
check the timing belt, it probably broke. Take the distributor cap off, and crank the engine over. if the rotor does not turn, the belt is broken.

thanks but that not it, the belt is on and it turns. I was told that it could be a "ignition module" issue but cannot locate it?
as I say thier is 12 volts up to the distributor, and up to the leads that plug into the fuel pump. Go figure! Thanks anyway. Tony |
