Two year ago I saw a 3000gt(VR-4) in Spain and I LOVED the car!!! :naughty: :naughty: When I came home I checked out it`s specs and I LOVED them too. :lol2: :lol2: Because the car isn`t sold in Norway I would have to import it myself from some other country. I went to costums to check out what I would cost. They asked for Hp and I told them. That was when I got a shock. I would have to pay 120,000 NOK about 17,500 USD just to get it thrue costums and to regustrait it!!! :banghead: :banghead:

Ouch man... That really hurts. I had to import mine from the States 'cause back in the day, there was no Mitsubishi in Canada. And even now, they don't make 3000's here. It only cost me like $2000 US though. $17 500 is crazy. Could buy an awesome car for that much. Why's it so much?

Shit - thats a heck of a lot of money to bring the car over. I knew duties were high over there, but not that much

Re: I`m living in a tax hell!!!
Some countries are really ridiculous about personal imports. My mom was living in Germany for 3 years, she had brought her subaru with her. When she moved back, customs here in the states impounded her car for 5 weeks after it had arrived, simply because there was a bit of dirt in the tire treads.(this was about 9 months after the madcow disease thing in england). They were pretty strict, and the transport of the car was pretty step as well. Sorry to hear your bad news.
