Exclamation Painting the steelies! lol... oh wow!

Ahahaha, no do not ask! I was in a weird mood so I went ahead and did a quick 5 minute photoshop of the drop and the steelie rims... and NO the mirror is not photoshopped here, that is a passenger side rear view on a CX ) But I was thinking about painting the steelies like a dark grey / almost gunmetally type color... I think it looks pretty cool!

If it comes out with a crappy image quality try going to...

http://www.redime.com/my_car/lowered...d_steelies.jpg

...and then holding on SHIFT on the keyboard and click reload ~ should show up a nice clear image. If its all distorted and crap, I dunno what to tell yah cause it does show up fine!

But whatcha think? lol...

Yeah, swaps coming ... but till then working on all the little things. With a drop coming up for this coming weekend I dont want to be riding on STOCK steelies ~ where as if I paint em... perhaps it wont catch the "Oh look hes dropped on stock rims" crap ~ cause I do that to people all the time so I know what im talkin about. This way I can at least figure out if I like that color... if not hell I can just strip it down and paint em white, or strip it down and paint them to match my power puff girl blue valve cover

I personally think it would look cool to have a car dropped with a swap and all and still have steelies, maybe not 13in but maybe 14 at least, gives you a sleeper look, and you don't have big rims weighing a ton to slow you down.
If they laugh about your car not having rims then you just smoke their ass

Personally, I don't like it. I think its a bad idea, beacuse no matter what color you paint them, they're still steelies. Put some 95 hubcaps on there and it will look better. IMO. I got a set of rims for sale, $200 with rubber. They are 16" Prime 3-spokes in grey.

Dude, these rims are from waaaaaaaay back in the day. I'm just tryin to pawn them off onto someone. Calm down. You get all defensive. I wasn't necessarily implying that you would want them, I was just sayin that I got some cheap rims an rubber to get rid of, thats all. Chill.
