Starter Question

Would a Start from my 91 Laser RS fit for a 91 Mitsu GSX AWD here is a picture of my engine if that is needed to help...but a lady told me that a guy want'd to do the same thing when buying her GSX and the starter didn't fit or sumthing like that so i was wondering if mine would fit into it

I believe a starter from one car will work on the other if the tranny plate is the same. They both have to be manual or auto. Between the AWD and FWD manual cars, the flywheels are different diameter with different tooth count, but I dont know that the starters are the same ITs a long shot. I'd just pop start it, and get the right starter for it.
