camaro 1le's

I am interested in purchasing a 1991 Z28 1LE, 5.7L. Does anyone know current values? Are they going up? Is this car a future collectible? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Yes all camaro's , trans am's, and firebirds are collectable's now.
Average price for that year low 1500.00 for a beater 2500.00 for average and 3000.00 for perfect condition.

I've never seen a 91 sold for more than 3500 and it had a bunch of mods so keep looking you will find a good deal.

I don't think your going to find a real '91 "1LE" for less than $8K, unless it's a retired racer.. These are pretty rare and valuable. I would avoid a real 1LE as a daily driver for no other reason that they didn't have A/C! A better, and cheaper option would be a "B4C police package" Camaro. These had all the 1LE goodies (brakes, special tank, Konis) and available A/C, power everything, and I've even seen a t-top cop Camaro!

P.S. - Even a B4C is going to be pricey...

Re: camaro 1le's

um, only thing about the B4C, didnt have the tank to my knowledge. and didnt have the koni shocks, had the Z28 running gear i thought. didnt have the aluminum driveshaft, didnt have the bigger front rotors and calipers. and the price is corriect from murco, the 1LEs are RARE and pricy. ive seen some around 7000 but not many less than that. and yeah, as a daily driver i wouldnt reccomend it, not because of the AC, but because it is so rare, there are so many bad drivers out there, its an accidnet magnet, someones gonna hit it. and then im gonna..... i mean YOURE gonna cry

ThirdGen.org
It was an RS Camaro with air conditioning, Z-28 power train, 140 amp altenator and came with some (but not all) of the 1LE option package equipment. This included dual cats, special suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, posi-traction, special axle ratio, oil cooler, 16" aluminum wheels, 145 MPH speedometer, and 245/50ZR16 blackwall tires.

I know it had the 1LE brakes as my cousin was a Nevada State Trooper in 1991 and drove a B4C Camaro with the set-up. We considered swapping front suspensions with my Camaro!!
I did mistake the tank though, I thought it had the baffled 18 gallon tank...

Re: camaro 1le's

If I got ahold of either a 1LE or a B4C it would be driven on the weekends to the gas station then covered and put in my garage. Then I would pull it onto a trailor and tow it to the car shows. hehe
