quick question about sr20 tranny
I was wondering about the diffrent cross overs there are with the types of clutches and flywheels you can use in a sr20det. I heard that you can use some kind of maxima clutch but i don't know what year.... and if a clutch works can you the flywheel too........ I mean i know my best choice is a jspec unit built for the engine but I'm not to keen on the price that, that intails..... any way i don't race the car its really just gonna be a daily driver so i can't see the point in spend more for preformance i won't really use much. thanks

Re: quick question about sr20 tranny
honestly i say stick w/ one that is built for a sr20, cause i heard the same stuff about using a maxima clutch so i did it, but really it doesnt grab like one that's made for the sr20. I measured it up to my friends sr20 clutch and the size is off by im guessing a couple of mm, which surprisingly makes a big difference...
just fork out the extra cash and you wont regret it.... Thats just what i think...cause i regret getting the maxima clutch... but if you still want to get the maxima clutch look for an 89 Nissan Maxima 240mm 9-7/16" spline 24x1 good luck |

a good maxima clutch shouldn't be much more of a price difference for a good aftermarket sr20 clutch......
