Geo wont start after rain

My girlfriends geo wont start after a rain. The humidity is affecting something, the engine will crank but will never turn over. Anyone else had this problem?

Possibly moisture getting into the distributor. Check the distributor cap for cracks. Use WD-40 to displace moisture in the distributor and spray the inside of the spark plug wire connectors at each end. If you're concerned about using WD-40 on or around electronics go to their web page and check them out. I've been using it since 1966 in automotive electronics, in noisy radio volume control pots, the older t v tuners. It's even good to spray on light bulb threads on outdoor lighting. Back to your girlfriends car. If the engines turning over but the cars not starting, it either not getting a spark or no gas. Go with the spark first, and then check that the electric fuel pump is getting juice. Good luck. Two other possible solutions. 1) new car for girlfriend. 2) new girlfriend. Just joking of course.

Also could be a MAP sensor. The 3 cyl MAP sensor is very sensitive to moisture when they get old.
