Rust

I have my first Jeep . . . I'm trilled with it, but boy is it rusting and rusting fast. Is there anything I can do to slow it down. I've heard that jeeps rust faster than most cars, but what can I do to prevent this?

Well first of all where is the rust located, floor pans, fender wells, etc... Ive built Cj's for years and dealt with rust in every build up ive done. You first need to clean the rusted area up and and then seal it up tight with primer, etc... You need to cut the air off to it. No air to the place=no rust. Depending on the location you can do several tricks to stop the rust, depending on if its a place you want to keep looking good or a place thats goin to be covered and you dont worry about looks any. Let me know where the rust is and i can help ya more...
