2008 Ford Ranger, Need part exact # and wondering what it does.

2008 Ranger, 100k miles, 3.0 Liter 6 Cylinder.

The Lower radiator hose sprung two leaks because it rests and vibrates against a clip from some other hose and a square corner of metal block. It's a 3-way hose, one goes to the lower radiator, the other to the water pump, the 3rd smaller hose in question goes up near the thermostat (red star on the large upper radiator hose indicates thermostat location).

The replacement hose, Duralast Radiator Coolant Hose E72021 https://www.autozone.com/p/duralast-...-e72021/887537

I'm going to cut the old hose and double it up and zip tie it around the replacement so it doesn't vibrate through as easily.

Getting the hose off the water pump was a tight area and a PITA and it wouldn't budge so I sliced it off. This one too this elbow nipple wouldn't budge so I tapped the top of the hose down with a rubber mallet and a big flat screwdriver but apparently this nipple is aluminum and I cut a small hole in it, the hole is towards the top right where I'd put the hose clamp instead of if it were lower on the nipple past the hose clamp I wouldn't worry. It's prolly going to be a PITA to even get this part out and I really don't want to have to start taking pulleys and fans off the front of the engine to make room which is sorta beyond my experience and can be a PITA, plus see the silver pipe right in the way running left to right I think is the AC line under pressure and not sure if I can just disconnect the compressor or something to move it to allow some wiggle room.

What does this third hose to near the thermostat even do? People in the following 2 thread links said it's to warm the engine faster, some removed it and plugged the hose and just replaced the hose from the lower radiator to the water pump but I wouldn't mess with changing the design.

Someone linked the following part: ford f77z-18599-aa https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...amz-nff-021-20

But all theirs in those threads have a sensor on it and/or a second similar elbow, mine just has 1 elbow nipple and no sensor like this one called

Ford -N808344-S101 Elbow - Heater Hose Outlet

https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts...8344-s101.html

I need the right part # in case it leaks when I install the new hose. I put JB Weld on the hole and hoping it keeps it from ever leaking. I'm waiting for it to set-up and will test tomorrow.

I searched "2008" ranger elbow heater hose outlet etc but couldn't find an exact match or anything. Maybe someone's good w schematics. Hopefully I can order it online instead of people mentioning the Ford dealer in those threads but using a thread checker or exact %100-am-sure part # would be ideal so I don't cross thread it or something and really cause a problem. thanks
