How can i find out what kind of battery i have in my truck
Hello, how can I find out what kind of battery I have in my truck? Like how can I find out if it's a
1: flooded lead acid battery (WET)? 2: enhanced flooded battery (EFB)? 3: gel cel battery (GEL) or VRLA? 4: absorbent glass mat battery (AGM) For example I took a picture of the battery in my truck and it says "DURALAST GOLD 58-DLG" but it doesn't seem to say what TYPE of battery I actually have I ran the model through Google and checked a few websites but none of them say what TYPE of battery I have, so is there maybe a website where I can put in a battery model number and get the information on what type of battery I have back? Any information would be appreciated thank you |

Re: How can i find out what kind of battery i have in my truck
It's a flooded type. If it were of the AGM style, it would be marked as such.
It would be a Duralast Platinum 58-AGM if it were AGM.
