E350 seat removal

Trying to remove 1 seat in my E350 passenger van. Bolts run through the floor and are rusted, and hard to reach. Tried to ratchet them out but they won’t budge. Any suggestions who to get this thing out?

Do they protrude through the floor and under the van? If so get under it and spray them down with PB Blaster and let them soak. Then spray and soak and spray and soak.

You could also CAREFULLY apply heat with something like a MAP torch to the bolt, then try to break it free.

Re: E350 seat removal

Family industrial construction company used to use those as work trucks in the steel mill. So many times the bolt would be so rusted that they either snapped or the nut broke free from its connection to the body and just spun around. Be ready to get a dremel style tool with a little cutoff wheel to take the head of the bolt off. If the head of the bolt snapps off, after the seat is out, drill down the center of the bolt to remove it.
