Koenig 928 S4 Progress..

The kit is Fujimi Koenig Porsche 928 which costed me around 25 US...

here are some pics of the body sanded with the mold lines removed...

Here are some pics with the door parts glued...I did some sanding before placing them and with some glue and correct positioning they look great...It might not need any putty filling...

Another interesting part of the model are the wheels and tires...

Here you can see the rim design...

Here you can see the tires which where awfull...Many leftovers from the mold...

After some cytting and sanding here we are...Almost perfect tire with the thread almost intact...

Don't you love those wide rear tires!(they say they are 350's!)

Overall I think a very decent kit...The body is molded very good and captures they original shape of the car perfect...The fiting was better than what I expected and it might not need any kind of puttywork...THe only bad part is the diameter of the wheels which is small...I think typical Fujimi problems...

P.S:Not sure on the color yet...is either black with stock rims and cream interior or Silver with black center on stock rims and black interior...What do you think?

Once again sorry for my bad english and my blurry pics...

I'm off to my bench again many models waiting...

Cychalen I'm waiting to see you start yours...

Nice!
I am still working on my Porsche and BMW so I will probably start this one next weekend.
Did you notice the mold lines on A & C pillars?

Cool kit, i want one of those. I recommend you to paint it in yellow or racing white with some stickers. And you could paint the spokes in yellow. SHould look good.

The kit looks very good and I believe that it deserves the 30 $...
I'd pay that much to buy a second one any time...

I'm working on it but I have a problem with small parts pictured in the last body pics...I can't find a how the hell the go in the doors...
Also by mistake I took them from the parts tree and I don't know what is what...DO you know how they might fit between the door and the main body???

I remember seeing this kit on my local hobby shop's shelf a few years ago. I'm disappointed I never bought it. Looks like a fun kit. Are you doing anything 'special' to it or building it out of the box.

I'd say they're the "fins" that go in the rear brake ducts. Test fit each piece in there until you find the configuration that fits properly and resembles the box art...

Don't you have the instructions? Wouldn't it show a picture putting those pieces in place?

I have instructions and I testfitted the parts in every possible way...
I can see how they might fit...

Plz if anyone built the model throw some help in that...

P.S:Building box stock at the moment just minor details(filled the back of the seats e.t.c.)Not even sure about the color yet...

this is probably the one kit that i would have to fight myself not to try and do anything more to it. the body lines are so agressive that i don't want to take away from it by doing anything more. let's just say the rims are worth a $15 price tag all on its own! the only thing i'm a bit bummed at is that the construction is so simple... much too simple for a $30 kit. that's my only gripe. but the body and wheels are so amazing that i just lose sight of what i was originally upset about

Well I was trying to decide what color this kit will be and I took a samll brake from this kit but now it's back...Not much progress but I took the important desision...

Here is a shot of the filled seats...

And here are some shots of the body painted...It's lines are so awesome and In silver it look so agressive...

Now on the other decisions I'm thinking of two interior colors...Blak leather or dark red leather...It fits porsche's style the silver body dark red interior but I dunno about this beast...

Hope you like it more pics later...

P.S:Appleseed the kits has some of the most awesome lines in a plastic car kit and it represents a model that can scare you in person...Fujimi done great work capruting the image of the car...It worth the 30$ price tag just for the body let alone the wheels...
