MF Zone Renault Megane Maxi

Hi guys! I just received the newly announced MF-Zone Renault Megane Maxi kit which I would like to build in the honor of the late Philippe Bugalski. Normally I do not report any kit review but this kit, for 130 euros, made me an exception. Judge it yourself by the enclosed photos...

Re: MF Zone Renault Megane Maxi

Racer1 and Rallymaster, I agree with you both. There are lots of things to correct on this kit, maybe too much. One thing is still a mistery for me though, using the Fujimi kit as a base, you build up the fenders with whatever media you use. But how come that the roof and the hood which is the same as the road version and you not supposed to touch it, become all wobbly, not to talk about all the doorshut and hoodshutlines which are terrible. Yes, the Renaissance kit is an option but there are also things to correct like the alignment of front air intake with the headlight, taillight only a decal, etc. I am afraid, the best option is to buy a Fujimi kit and DIY, using some interior parts from either kit.
