Oil filter...

i need to know if an oil filter for a 95-99 maxima will fit a 3.5 5th gen. are they the same, cuz i have like 5 mobil one M-110 filters from my other car that i'd hate to see go to waste. i only put 1000 miles on the car since i got it but i really wanna change to mobil one synthetic.

I use the M-108 filters in my '03 GLE...dunno if the M-110's will do the job or not.

I know the 02's have different filters from the 03's for some reason. i just don't know if they changed at all between 95 and 02

'02-'03 use the same filter for the same VQ35DE engine...my ESM and Mobil parts catalog concur with this.

really? cuz i remeber on the org, before i was banned,(Fuck you Kevin Chin) that one kid was talking about how the dude at mobil looked up the filter for his car and came up with 2 dif. filters for the same generation. one for the 02 one for the 03 or something to that extent.
i'll take your word though. m-108 here i come. what a waste of my m-110's though.
