YAMAHA YZR-M1 2006 Mugello

Hello guys, this is my first time posting my work on AF.

This model is converted with STUDIO27 trans kit based on TAMIYA 2005 YZR-M1, also added some detail parts from Top Studio and T2M with front fork set of TAMIYA.

Hope you'll like it!

Holy cow, that is some of the cleanest work I have ever seen on here!!!!! Amazing picture and amazing attention to detail. So nicely done. Those bolts are a all a great add. There is nothing in here that makes you think it is a model. Super work!!!!!!!! Andy

Re: YAMAHA YZR-M1 2006 Mugello

Amazing.

Quick question. How much of this kit is OOB? Are lots of those details (rotors, bolts, lines) part of the kit? Or is that scratchbuilt. Haven't felt brave enough to attempt one of these.

Thanks

With bolts and photo-etched parts added, and all the detail parts, almost all the parts of this bike has been modified more or less. Even the frame and the swing arm are different from OOB. The only thing I could come up with is the racing stand...just paint work and no further modification on it.

The bolts and wires, also the metal parts like throttle cable tensioner and wheel shafts are not included in the original kit nor the trans kit,
I have to bought them separately. In most occasions those parts just cost more than the plastic kit itself!

Thanks for your question.

sorry for misunderstanding your question.
the trans kit includes 4 pieces of resin cowl parts, metal cast brake caliper/rear brake cylinder and a set of PE.

the rest of the bike are from 2005 model.
