RB26dett power on stock boost?

How much hp and torque can be expected if you up the boost on an all stock RB26dett? What are the limits of the stock internals of this engine?

If you do pods and exhaust, remove the brass restrictor plug usually around 300hp at the flywheel. With ecu work and 1.1 bar 420-430hp, add a front mount and around 450hp before you max out the injectors and turbos.

Stock bottom end will peak around 525-560hp depending on condition of the motor, max boost would be no more than 1.2 before you either blow a head gasket or begin to crush the ring lands on the cast pistons, and or begin to stretch the rod bolts.

The factory crank is good for about 850hp.

Note I said the crank could take that. You would how ever need to sure up the rest of the motor to handle it.

The RB26 Block has produces over 1,300 hp on many occasions.
