'02 Impala brake booster removal

I'm wondering what tool or combination of tools to use when removing the brake booster on my '02 Impala. There is only one clip that is removed from under the dash which connects the brake pedal to the booster rod.
Looking at it from under the hood there does not appear to be enough room to loosen the bolts using a conventional wrench/socket set. The replacement unit looks like it rotates into place and is secured with several tabs of metal which are stamped into the rear of the booster. Any help would be appreciated.
Thx

Re: '02 Impala brake booster removal

To remove booster tap downward on the tab that's at the 9:00 position with a hammer and long screwdriver/prybar rotating the booster counter clockwise. You will have to remove a cylinder like component & bracket and the cross member (bar) that's above the booster to allow room for removal. Since these items need to be removed for the booster to come out it would be a good idea to remove them first so you have more room to work when removing the master cylinder. There is no need to open the brake lines, the brake lines are flexible. Just remove the two nuts and move the MC forward being careful not to spill the fluid. Don't forget to remove the clip securing the booster rod to the brake pedal under the dash board.

To install, put booster in place and rotate clockwise by gently tapping on slots that are located around the perimeter of the booster. And reinstall all components previously removed.

Yeah, I know it's 5 years old, but it has hundreds of views. I answered it for those others that are looking for help. I ran across it because I was looking for help. I figured it out on my own and thought I would help others with the same problem.
