My 1994 Buick regal will not turnover

Okay, let me start by saying that its not the battery, (got it checked and tried to jumps with cables) and I got nothing...I replaced the starter and powwow.. That wasn't the problem, so now I'm confused as crap... Only thing I got left is the ignition switch and neutral safety switch.. I tried to put it in neutral and got nothing..

Could it be the vats system, although my security light doesn't come on... But when I try to bypass the starter soliniod, it cranks but it dies in a matter of seconds.. And I heard the the anti theft system block the starter from firing up the fuel injectors... Please help

Have you tried a different key? If it is the vats system, there is a bypass for the pellet in the key. You check the resistance on that pellet, then go to radio shack or somewhere that sells resisters, buy a resister with the same resistance, Splice the resister into the proper wiring circuit. There is info all over the internet about how to do this. I don't have it right in front of me.

If the problem is elsewhere in security system, bypassing the pellet in the key won't help anything.

Well. Do my security light have to come on... The resistance on my key read. 0.88., can the resistor read 0.98 ohm and still work

I don't know, you can try it, i guess? The best fix would be to fix it properly. Is your security lamp on? Check for applicable trouble codes. See if anything shows up.

Was the SECURITY light staying off when the car started OK? If it started with the light off, you can't tell if it's a PassKey problem.....there has to be a sarter enable relay .....does it click with the key in the "crank" position?

No, the resistance has to be between 850-942 ohms, if the reading was 0.88 K ohms.....
