Mechanical parts already painted and slightly dry-brush.
Injection pines of the chassis covered.

The fits are very good. Until now no problem at all.

Going slowly.

I used sanding paper to simulate the anti-slip of the pedals.

Ok, tell me that the footbox shot above is the real car. If not, that's one of the best models I've seen!

Great start at any rate! Just saw this kit in my LHS. If the price wasn't $80, I would have bought it...

Re: Peugeot 207 S2000 - "Bruno Magalhaes MC 2010"

Nice start on a really interesting project, it seems to be the first belkits 207 S2000 WIP here !!

What is the driver seats bottom thick edge meant to represent ?? is it accurate ?? I can find pic of the driver seats bottom to verify it..
that's strange both seats aren't identical, material of the seats should cover all the inside of the seat, till the bottom, never seen a racing seat seeming "boxed" like that in a hard bottom...

I bet it is !!

I took a first look at mine, arrived on saturday with the focus...
the kit is really good, especially for 35 euros... the only thing I'm not friendly with is the roll cage, its tubes are not thick enough in my opinion...
opening the focus box just after that is like a big kick in the ass...

...and that was the one I was really excited about. Having the door molded open and being the WRC-class Focus were some great incentives. So you're saying it's not worth the price?

Not really... I'm saying I'm really disappointed because I had high expectations about this focus kit release...
Kit is not so bad, but it has some big mistakes or strange conception choices which are really disturbing accuracy maniacs like me...!
I still haven't decided if keeping it or not, but will let you know when having decided.

The seats on the 207 S2000 are different from each other.

The 207 S2000 has a rollcage a little thin if we compare with the rollbar of other rallye cars (WRC). Someone made the measures and the conclusion is: less 0,3mm!

Thanks for your answer, I didn't notice the driver and codriver seats were different...

The roll cage seems more than 0.3 mm thinner to me because 0,3 mm isn't even noticable but when I opened the box I immediately noticed it...
I still haven't measured it myself but what is sure it that compared to tamiya or hasegawa roll cage it seems really thin and out of scale !!
I think I'll gonna change it on mine, but will be a hard task... So may keep it like that though...

the measure and conclusion you gave above seemed so strange to me that I've just made the comparison myself a few minutes ago...

The 207 roll cage is just half thinner than tamiya roll cage !!
so nothing to deal with only invisible 0,3 mm (don't know who reported this measure to you but it's completely false !! ), what confirmes my first opinion, roll cage is too thin and seems out of scale compared to every other brands...
I don't really know who's (the most) right, if all brands make too thick rollcage whereas Belkits saw righter, but don't really believe it and I keep thinking than tamiya rollcage seems good, not too thick or too thin, and keep being the right standard to follow, but then it makes belkits roll cage really seeming too thin...
Replacing the whole roll cage won't be an easy task, but I think I'll go for that solution on mine...
Will be too strange when displaying tamiya and belkits kits side by side...

I really like the look of this kit.
To me, this one looks like a real plastic kit whereas the Focus looks a bit too much like how Slot Car bodies are done.
