Talking 55 belair big scale tons of pics.

heres something i started working on.
55 belair nomad

all i did tonight was separate the trans from the bell housing, smoothed out the seams and the bell housing.

hotchkis inspired tubular A arms and drop spindles.

brakes look a little thin, might make them thicker. next for these are the 6 piston calipers.

stock height. not bad, but im not one for stock height..

big brother

well, after a few months of doing well, not much. i did some work. little update bump
who needs a huge gas tank and spare wheel well?? getting ready for custom linked suspension.

phase 1 lowering in the rear. i like it, it's subtle.

phase 2 lowering. "C" notched the frame. it sits lower, but i did this for suspension travel, not ride height.
gotta be realistic a bit right

heres to night 2
i think the pics speak for themselves

under shot. might be a bit dark.

The lowered suspension definately looks better than the stock height!

What scale is it?

Re: 55 belair big scale tons of pics.

got some work done in the past couple of nights

and this is the idea for the upper links. triangulated=no need for lateral bar

this is the the semi end product to the links.
so this is what i have came up with, gonna go from the top. more clearance

going to hit the LHS to see if they have some nuts and bolts i can use.

This is going to be awesome! Tough stance!
It's definately screaming for a turbo..or turbos haha..I can't believe the kit came stock with a turbo option in the first place!

Really like all the effort you are putting into this. Nice work on the rear suspension.
