Just called my dealer to schedule the first oil change on our 2010 4 cylinder Rav 4. The service writer told me if the oil cap says 0w-20 on it, then it came with synthetic oil and I can wait to 10,000 miles. It does say 5w-20 and 0w-20 on it.
Has anyone ever heard of this? The car has a little less than 5,000 miles and I don't want to blow my warranty. |

Re: woodworker1
He's telling you the truth the 0W-20 is the synthetic and the 5W-20 is not synthetic as far as I know, so the question is, which oil is in your engine when you bought it, find that out and you have your answer, good luck.
