02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2

i have recently ran my car basically dry of oil, engine still runs and sounds fine but the 02 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2 engine light has come om and is running really rich on fuel would a new sensor fix the problem of is there underlining problems and if so what problems could there be??

I'd say it's self explanatory. Replace the lambda.
