1968 1600cc vw buggy flooding problem
Hello I'm hoping someone could help me out with a problem I have with my buggy. For awhile it was running like crap but after changing all plug wires it ran great with no problems until I took it out in the desert after that my dad went to go start it up to move it but died on him and wouldn't start and later I heard a bubbling sound coming from under the air filter and noticed that it was flooded and well ever since that happened I been having problems with it trying to die when I slow down and dies. It starts up fine and even when warm it starts right up and idals fine for a min then starts to flood it self out. Any ideas of what the problem could be would be great

might be something stuck in the float valve. be sure to use a fuel filter.
