Headlight Bulb Upgrade

Anyone out there know a bit about headlight bulbs?
I've got the old standard H7s in my Mondeo and they're ok, but not great. It's time for an upgrade. With the clock going back one hour, it just seems to be dark all the time - on the way to work, and on the way back.
Has anyone tried the osram night breakers or silver star range. Would you consider them an inprovement on the H7s??

Re: Headlight Bulb Upgrade

i know this is a dead thread by now but i would not go with standard bulb i have a 2008 escape with h13 bulbs and after i just replaced them it is going in to have an HID upgrade installed i have the hid kit in my windstar 9007 bulb and with the bi-xenon bulb it is a 1000x better in the dark and rainy weather.

But that's my 2 cents everyone has their own opinion but i prefer the hid setup now that i have them
