Which is the cheapest way to fix it and how much will it cost? Will it be better to get new rims? Can I do nothing and will it stay the same way or will the pitting spread?
Please help!!!

If it is peeling off then your screwed. Too expensive to get fixed. You gotta watch what you wash it with too. The wrong chemical will make spots appear. Looks like you got a cheap pair of chrom rims, unless you have been abusing them.
