i just dont like that look in the plastic in our cars, all wrinkly and lil itsy bitsy squiggle things.. ya know ? thas why im sandin mine SMOOTH. i read an article on how to make yer pieces in yer car look like fiberglass. Just the usual sanding, primering, 3 times.. paint, clear coat. Im doing that to the peices between the front and rear doors on the walls. Ceiling plastic outliner thing, center console.. everything just about... and with everything that has Vinyl layering over it, im re-upholstering w/some kind of exotic material, velour im thinking. For that Show look. same w/seats, and celing material. Already got a new carpet.. but its not a super duper perfect fit.. really flimsy.. but i'll get it to stick somehow..
