It's certainly possible but you'll need the harness, transmission, rear-end, alot of time and money to do it right and have it be reliable. 1998 was the first year for the LS1, which is a whole 'nother can-o-worms to convert. An LT1 conversion (93-97) would be far easier if you insist on doing it.
