You should definitely be able to do better than over MSRP. I recently ordered a 2002 325 in the greater LA area. I started with a quote from CarsDirect.com, which was invoice + 1850 for an 02. I took the quote to the fleet manager (use your credit union, auto club membership, costco membership, etc to get a fleet referral). He beat the CarsDirect price and I ended better than 1000 under MSRP
. I think it is reasonable to expect to get at least the Edmunds price. Good luck and don't hesitate to walk out if they won't give you a fair price!
