Sorry guys, that was a typo, of course rotarys don't have cams.
As far as the flames go, I have only done with carb engines. My understanding was that once the ignition is turned off, the injectors stop pulsing and therefore there is no fuel in the exhaust whereas with a carb, the fuel is still sucked in.
If anyone questions my car, it was built at KD rotary and is currently at Alamo getting a big single put on...
Anyone else have a 20b here?
