They did have GT's in the year 2000. Just no Spyders. They introduced it as a 2001 model. I remember when I bought my 2000 Eclipse GT, a few months later, all my friends was asking me why I didn't wait to get a Spyder, hehe. Wasn't my thing. Not too big on convertibles. Oh well. That's all under the bridge. I don't even have my Eclipse GT no more, hehe.
