The problem with a B16A1 in your 98 is, it is OBD 0 and you car is OBD II, not to mention that your car has a hydraulic actuated transmission and the B16A1 is cable. So in order to get it in your car you need to get a hydraulic tranny, along with all the appropriote sensors. In all actuality it would be about the same price to just get the correct motor for your car to begin with. A JDM B16A from a 96-98 SiR or SiRII, B16A2 from a 96-97 delsol, B18C1 from a 96 + GSR, would be good choices. You can also get a hold of a B16A2 from a 99-00 Si, but you will have to do some minor wiring since it is an OBD IIb.
